Update: 10 Cases of Locally Acquired Dengue in France in 2024

French health authorities have reported a total of 10 locally acquired dengue cases so far this year.

4 cases in the Occitanie region, in the municipalities of Montpellier or Pérols (2 possible transmission sites), Aimargues, and Baho or Florac, with symptom onset between July 16 and July 28, 2024.

5 cases in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (PACA) region, in the municipalities of Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes, La Crau, and La Colle sur Loup, with symptom onset between May 8 and July 30, 2024.

1 case in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in the municipality of Montélimar, with symptom onset on July 8, 2024.
