Sri Lanka reports record number of dengue cases in a single day, exceeding 1,000.

Sri Lanka recorded 1,069 new cases of dengue fever yesterday, surpassing 1,000 daily cases for the first time.

So far this year, the country has accumulated a total of 47,179 cases and 28 deaths from dengue.
