The Mexican Ministry of Health reports 3,174 confirmed cases of dengue fever and seven deaths as of July 13.
Of the cases, 1,400 are non-severe, 1,648 present warning signs, and 126 are severe. Sonora leads with 898 accumulated cases, followed by Veracruz (499), Tabasco (440), Sinaloa (439), and Baja California Sur (178). Sinaloa has 30 severe cases, followed by Veracruz and Sonora with 13 each.
The case fatality rate is 0.39%. The public is urged to eliminate mosquito breeding grounds.
