The Hong Kong Centre for Health Protection reports an increase in cases of Dengue (FD) and Chikungunya (FC) due to high temperatures and rainfall.
There have been 27 imported (25) and 2 locally transmitted (2) cases of dengue this year. Last year (2025), there were 59 cases of dengue, all of which were imported. In 2024, there were 161 cases of dengue, of which 156 were imported and five were locally transmitted.
