There have been 93,155 reported cases of dengue fever in the Philippines, a 46% decrease compared to the same period last year (174,077 cases). The number of deaths has also decreased to 386, down from 699 last year.
Central Luzon leads with 16,057 cases, followed by the National Capital Region (10,611) and Calabarzon (10,320). Several areas, including Mandaluyong, Lapu-Lapu, and Zamboanga, have exceeded the epidemic threshold, indicating active outbreaks. Cebu, Mandaue, and Davao de Oro have exceeded the alert threshold.
