Mexico has registered 24,998 probable cases of dengue in 2026, with 2,421 confirmed through epidemiological week 22. 1,280 new probable cases and 135 new confirmed cases were reported in the last week.
Of the confirmed cases, 1,028 are non-severe and 1,393 are severe or present with warning signs. Sonora leads with 662 confirmed cases, followed by Sinaloa (384), Tabasco (383), Veracruz (342), and Baja California Sur (150), accounting for 79% of the total. 175 probable deaths have been reported, with 4 confirmed deaths in Michoacán, Oaxaca, Tabasco, and Veracruz.
The estimated incidence is 4,675 cases in 2026.
