Since January 2026, Yemen has recorded more than 4,800 cases of dengue fever, resulting in 18 deaths.
Taiz province reported 4,819 cases and 18 deaths in Aden and Hadramout. Aden, the temporary capital, leads with 1,243 infections and 12 deaths, accounting for 67% of the total.
The situation has worsened compared to last year, when 3,900 cases and 14 deaths were recorded. The collapse of the health system and the humanitarian crisis exacerbate the vulnerability of the population.
