The Ministry of Health has reported 2,194 cases of dengue fever during epidemiological week 27 of 2016, of which 38 presented warning signs.
The province of Alajuela registered the highest number of cases with 823, followed by Puntarenas (316), Guanacaste (311), Limón (285), San José (280), Heredia (137), and Cartago (42).
