Since May 17, 2026, five new confirmed cases of dengue fever have been reported in the regions of Matam (1), Tambacounda (1), and Saint Louis (3).
No new deaths were reported. So far this year, Senegal has recorded 65 confirmed cases of dengue in eight of its 15 regions. Fifty-eight percent of the confirmed cases are women, and 23% are in the 15-20 age group.
