The Benguet Provincial Health Office recorded 551 cases of dengue fever between January 1 and May 16, 2026, a 23% decrease compared to the same period the previous year. Itogon led with 179 cases, followed by Atok with 137. La Trinidad reported 36 cases, a 65% reduction.
Authorities continue to monitor high-risk areas and promote the elimination of mosquito breeding sites.
