Health authorities in Mexico have recorded a number of dengue cases, primarily in the southern and southeastern states. A total of 18,631 combined cases have been reported, including both uncomplicated cases and those requiring medical attention.
Fifty-seven percent of confirmed cases are from Guerrero, Tabasco, Veracruz, Michoacán, and Chiapas. Baja California, Chihuahua, Mexico City, Durango, and Tlaxcala have not yet reported any cases.
