Health authorities in the Philippines (DOH) have reported 128,834 cases of dengue and 337 related deaths so far this year. The number of cases is 33% higher than the data from the same period in 2023, although the deaths have not increased.
Four of the country’s 17 regions have seen a continuous increase in dengue cases over the past six weeks.
