Dengue in the Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic has reported a significant reduction in dengue cases during 2024 compared to 2023.

Confirmed cases in 2024 total 1,284, representing a 65.54% decrease compared to the previous year. The cumulative incidence is 12.27 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The highest incidence was reported in San José de Ocoa, with 96.86 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
