Health authorities (PAHO) have reported 333 new suspected cases of dengue in the Dominican Republic over the past week.
Up to epidemiological week 21 (Epi Week 21), the country has recorded 8,545 possible cases. Out of these, 835 have been confirmed through laboratory tests. Additionally, 59 patients have been identified with severe dengue. The cumulative incidence rate is 78.01.
