Sri Lankan health authorities (NDCU) have reported 27,121 dengue cases and 9 deaths so far this year. The majority of cases have been reported in Western Province.
In the first 21 days of June, 2,201 cases have been reported. This figure represents a significant increase, considering that 2,647 cases were recorded throughout May.
