The Petaling district leads the number of dengue cases in Selangor with 15,270 out of a state total of 45,325 cases so far this year. It is followed by the Hulu Langat district with 12,830 cases and Klang with 6,006 cases.
The number of dengue cases in Selangor as of July 28th this year had increased by 29% compared to the same period last year, which recorded 35,134 cases.
Selangor also leads other states in the number of dengue cases, with Johor being the next highest with 9,566 cases, followed by the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya with 8,059 cases.
