Dengue in Panama. 5,306 cases and 14 deaths

Health authorities in Panama (Minsa) reported that to date, 5,306 cases of dengue have been reported, a significant increase compared to the same period in 2023, when 2,483 cases were recorded, or in 2022 (1,634 cases).

The regions with the highest incidence are Panama Metro, Colón, Panama Oeste, Chiriquí, Bocas del Toro, Panama Norte, and Panama Este, in that order.

So far this year, there have been 14 deaths, mainly in Colón, Chiriquí, Panama Metro, Panama East, and Panama West of Coclé.
