Health authorities in Mauritius have reported 675 new cases of dengue since May 24, 2024, on two islands: Mauritius (593 locally transmitted cases) and Rodrigues (82).
So far this year, 9,166 cases and 8 deaths (CFR 0.1%) have been recorded in Mauritius (6,694 locally transmitted cases, 11 imported cases, and 8 deaths) and in Rodrigues (2,453 locally transmitted cases and 8 imported cases).
