Dengue in Maldives (EW22). 1,234 cases this year

The WHO has reported a total of 610 dengue cases in the Maldives in May 2024. This figure represents a 150% increase compared to April, when 244 cases were reported.

In the first five months of the year, 1234 cases of the disease have been reported in the country (compared to 1219 in the same period in 2023). Throughout 2023, a total of 3417 dengue cases were reported in the Maldives.
