Health authorities in Laos have reported over 20,000 dengue cases and 11 deaths this year (3 in Luang Prabang, 3 in the capital, 2 in Sekong, and 1 in Luang Namtha).
The highest number of cases has been recorded in the capital, Vientiane, with 5,761 cases.
