In epidemiological week 44 of 2024 (October 28 to November 3, 2024), 368 dengue cases and no deaths were reported in Laos. The number of cases reported is lower than in epidemiological week 43 (560 cases and one death) and week 44 of 2023 (536 cases and no deaths).
The cumulative number of cases reported in 2024 (up to epidemiological week 44) is 17,867. This represents a 40.0% decrease compared to the 29,790 cases recorded during the same period in 2023.
