Dengue in Ivory Coast. Risk in the Abidjan District

Health authorities in Ivory Coast (INHP) reported that out of more than 2,600 cases of dengue notified in recent months, 383 were confirmed as positive. Over 80% of the cases are located in the Abidjan district, particularly in the Cocody commune, which accounts for 60% of the cases.

The disease has already affected 24 health districts in the country following an increase in new cases at the start of the major rainy season between May and mid-July.
