Brazilian health authorities have reported a significant increase in arbovirus cases in recent weeks in the state of Espírito Santo.
The state has recorded 152,800 probable cases of dengue, along with 40 confirmed deaths and seven under investigation. The incidence rate in the state is nearly 4,000 cases of the disease per 100,000 inhabitants.
