Health authorities in Argentina have reported that the country has accumulated 498,091 cases of dengue so far in 2024 (97 percent of the 515,252 infections recorded in the season that began in Epidemiological Week 31 of 2023 (EW31/23)). The season has caused a total of 353 deaths, of which 343 occurred in 2024.
The highest number of cases has been reported in the Central region (62.1%), followed by the Northwest region (22.6%) and the Northeast region (13.2%).
The disease shows local viral circulation in 19 of the 24 districts of the country.
