The US Department of Health (DOH) has reported 2 new cases of autochthonous dengue in Florida last week, bringing the total number of locally acquired cases this year to 16. The cases are distributed in Hillsborough (2), Miami-Dade (11), Monroe (2), and Pasco.
In 2023, there were 186 cases of locally acquired dengue reported in five counties: Broward (4), Hardee (19), Miami-Dade (161), Palm Beach, and Polk.
Additionally, 268 imported cases have been reported.
