Observing the decrease in epidemiological surveillance indicators related to dengue, the health authorities of Martinique, with the advice of experts from the Technical Committee for Arbovirus Surveillance (CTSA), officially announce the end of the dengue epidemic.
The circulation of dengue is currently at levels below those reported before the outbreak, confirming a return to normalcy.
Since the beginning of the epidemic in July 2023 (week 2023-30), nearly 19,300 patients have been seen by general practitioners for suspected dengue.
